VERY RARE piece.

Headdress / Hair extension from the Himalayas.

Most likely from the Aryan Dard people group. Women get together and braid each other's hair and attach these prized ornamental decorations to add volume.

From the 1970s.

Braided and decorated with cowrie shells.

Will look superb framed.
