Superbly rendered artistic Shoowa cloth - originally acquired to frame and use as wallart.

The number of patterns on this piece make it remarkable!

Made of palm Raffia Vinifera by a long complex process that requires the participation of men, women and children of the family. Each piece must be soaked, beaten, worked and scraped by hand to acquire the fine & floppy character.
