The illuminated painting portrays a procession with the King on horseback with his Hookah attendants and his ministers, in what is likely an important official procession of the royals of one of the erstwhile princely states of Rajasthan.

The back of the wooden plaque contains text in Devanagari script.

This piece is quite likely an official invitation or a commemorative plaque to mark this important royal event.
