Beautiful depiction of Lord Srinathji of Nathdwara rendered in beadwork

Note the structure of the stitches in the beadwork - these have all been laid at angles to each other - a technique that is no longer practiced.

Note also the uneven character of the beads that are a mark of the older process of production that is no longer in use.

Age and origin unknown - estimated to be from the early-mid 1900s

Edges frayed.

Will do well with framing.
