373 Old Tribal Naga Beads - Himalayan Mountain Coral

Antique Tribal Beads from Nagaland - North East India

The white beads are possibly kernels of conch shells that are prized by the Nagas on account of the association with their belief about their origin.

The end beads might be amber.

The white beads are also called 'Tibetan' or 'Mountain' Coral

Estimated to be from the early 1960s
