Berber weaving extravagantly decorated with figures.
Probably from Oued Zem in central Morocco.
Probably woven on an upright loom.
A man, 19 hens, 10 roosters, 6 sturdy camels and dozens of trees of various types feature in it.
Wool base with motifs rendered in silk or silky wool or silky cotton.
Heavy (about 6 kg) with very floppy handle.
No flaws seen
Estimated to be from the early-mid 1900s.
