This piece is a dense phulkari but does not qualify to be called a bagh as the base cloth is still seen despite the extensive embroidery.
Further, the chope stitch has also been creatively employed for the flower stalks!
But the Nazar butti - an anomalous motif - that is a device put in to deflect / absorb the evil eye is the most remarkable feature of this phulkari!
