A striking batik sarong with contrasting end panels and a fantastic presence.

These cloths were worn wrapped around the waist so that the end border patterns were displayed at the front. 

Estimated to be from the 1950-1970s

Collected in Sumatra

Has minor stains 

Can be folded and framed or repurposed as a decorative textile
