Beautiful silk embroidered Phulkari Bagh Shawl
Superb small tight stitches. The emrboidery is so dense that the contrasting base cloth is rendered invisible.
Fantastic deep red base
Age unknown but estimated to be 50-60 years old
Originally this was one section of a larger traditional-sized shawl. (The base of all old phulkaris is made up of several bands that have been woven on narrow looms and then stitched together longitudinally.)

Can be used as a wrap or a runner.
