A  museum-quality deep red Indian Trade textile.

A long border fragment of a gorgeous textile.

Coarse thick cloth with uneven yarn (see close-ups)

This will make a superb framed artwork. Amazing red!

Collected on a field visit to Sri Lanka. Probably made in Gujarat for trade. 

Estimated to be from the 1800s

Such large fragments are rarely found. 

Mounted on white cloth and ready to be framed.

Has a patch of repair in the pallu. Further an extension has been added using a panel of cloth with a matching color & similar pattern.

VERY RARE

Such pieces can be found only in museums.

Frame it and add it to your home-museum collection. [this was actually framed when I acquired it, but for easy transportation, the frame was removed)
