A rare Sinhalese inner garment worn to puff up the lower garment. (see last image)

Amazing coarse cotton with hand spun yarn and hand woven cloth

Printed and painted with natural dyes 

200 x 77 cm

Has a joint at one end and has been cut at another end. 

Collected on a field visit

Estimated to be from the 1800s 

Has several stains in the white section, signs of usage and wear. Has repairs,fading, yellowing etc.
