1738 Old Yao Shaman Sash with Inscription

A Yao Shaman's sash with inscription in very dense embroidery.

The text is not legible but has ceremonial significance

Estimated to be from the early-mid 1900s, Vietnam

Rare textile probably from the Kim Mun Lantien people of North Vietnam / Laos

Signs of light usage present in terms of minor losses.

Yet, fortunately, the art & cultural stories embedded within remain intact!
