Rajasthan Folk Art

July 10, 2010 1 min read

Jaipur. 3 hours.  3 things on the TO-DO list.

The Palace to feast on the architecture. The outstanding folk songs and puppet show – to feed the soul. And finally a meal that will be etched on my taste buds forever at Laxmi Mishtan Bhandar……..

The photos are of rajasthani folk singers and dancers taken at various points in time….If only these images and my words could re-create the electric passion that that folk music sparks off in the atmosphere!
