They say be careful about tattoos because you have to live with them for the rest of your life.
When I turned 40 I realised that I was way into the other side of the hill and the daunting unknown quantity called “rest of your life” wasn’t that long.
So I decided to throw caution to the winds and live life on the edge. I got my first tattoo!!! A whole 1 cm of black ink!
I loved it and was proud of it and it gave me a thrill to see it in the mirror.
As the years passed I grew braver and added more.
Tribal tattoos always fascinated me but this one that I came across in a book yesterday is among the top enigmatic ones. Full of symbolic meanings this tattoo from Myanmar would need a few weeks to understand!
!!!
This Shan man with divination charts inscribed as a skin garment provides the rest of us tattoo lovers with quite a lofty goal isn’t it?
