Antique Himalayan Buddhist Art - Mahakala carved in Lapis Stone
Thirteen figures in addition to the central Mahakala figure in all of 5 inches!
Encased on a metal base (may have some gold plating) & ornamented with coral and turquoise beads.
The main figure is made of a different material ... may be resin of some type.
The carving is estimated to be from the early 1900s

Signs of this life lived heartily may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, color run and other imperfections.
