Antique Qashqai Rugs

This group of rugs has been my favorite with strong central medallion that has come to be a signature of identity. The tribal Qashqais and particularly the Shekarlu rug sub groups tend to be wild and restraint-free in the composition of the field. This is the reason for my attraction to this group - because no matter how long you study a particular rug, the next viewing still holds some new unexpected and delightful surprise.
