Pair of Antique Dayak Bead Head Bands  - Ceremonial Ornaments from Borneo

A part of the Iban Dayak ceremonial costume, the beads have been woven and attached to a palm leaf base covered with cloth.

Both have significant signs of wear and condition is fragile / damaged. In one, the palm leaves are exposed.

Estimated to be from the late 1800s.
