Decorated with with a narration of stories from the Krishnayan - the life story of Krishna

Features Krishna & Balaram.

Also features Ganesh.

38cm x 19cm, 29cm high.

Created in an era where images of gods and goddesses were seen in every home in a variety of objects - spiritual or otherwise - to maintain an aura of spiritual purity. May have been used to keep jewels or pouches of coins [no currency notes at that time].

Estimated to to be from the 19th century

Condition is not perfect as can be seen from the photos.
