1. SHIPPING DATES

Items will be shipped out within 3 days of purchase normally.
When I plan to travel for Cultural Talks or other projects,
a VACATION MESSAGE will announce the next shipping date in advance.

2. MODE
*
a) For items priced US$1200 or more DHL is used. 
*
b) For items priced less than US$1200,
Singapore Post Registered Mail is the standard option for shipping.
Singapore Post offers
only LIMITED TRACKING 
IF REQUESTED, we can use DHL instead
*
In both cases, tracking details
along with photographs of the parcel handed over to the post
will be sent upon dispatch.

3. SHIPPING INSURANCE
*
Shipping insurance is offered free of cost for very small amounts in both Singapore Post as very as DHL and usually does not cover the cost of the item.
*
IF REQUESTED we will purchase shipping insurance
for additional payment of 3% of the invoice.

4. CUSTOMS
*
Some countries have regulatory checks on textiles / old things being brought in.
The buyer must resolve these at her / his end as I have no access or control over the customs offices in the other countries.
If you have any special requests in any of the above areas please discuss in advance before making the purchase.

5. LIABILITY
*
The shipping of the purchased lots is usually a smooth process.
*
Once the item has been handed over to the service and tracking has been noted there is really very little I can do in case of delays and other problems.
*
For example, events such as 
- missed deliveries
- theft
- customs related issues and
- damage during shipping
are beyond my control
So for expensive items you are encouraged to request DHL and purchase additional insurance.
*
Having said that, I will naturally do whatever I can to help in case a problem arises.
