1548 Antique Dochalla Long Shawl

Lovely red & white Dochalla Shawl for men

Embroidered inscription with the word "Barkat" in Urdu [a blessing of "Prosperity"] and probably the maker's stitched signature

Wool, the white field with two end-panels, each finely woven with a single row of 10 large botehon each end panel woven in red, green and yellow.

Original Selvedge

Some stains, darns, holes. Minor losses to frayed edges. Has a repair patch on the back (see photo)
