Ba-sa-dung Li Ethnic group from Hainan
The Li group wearing this type of skirt are the Ba-sa-dung Li sub-group and speak the Run dialect.
Baisha area of Hainan Island
Note the huge variety of human figures woven into this textile. Minor variations in the palette, the formation of the head or shoulders, make the figures unique. A superb study example.
