Amazing 17th Century Old Antique Tibetan Buddhism Thangka

As both an instructional tool and auspicious talisman the stylized astrological chart brings good fortune to all those who see, display or possess it. The Sidpaho painting is a collection of astrological, calendar and primary element symbols.

53 x 64 cm the painting / partly block printed. Several hand-written sutras.

Estimated to be from the 17th Century

Some photos have been taken with higher exposure to allow the detail to be seen. In reality the painting is darkened from extended exposure to the vapors of yak-butter lamps that permeate tibetan monasteries. 

Condition is commensurate with age. Wrinkles & losses are visible in in the photos.
