Village rug from Neyriz (Niriz / Neiriz) South Persia.
Rare geometric fish bone pattern
Stunning star lattice in the four corners separated by gorgeous candy-stripe borders
One corner has an animal strolling amidst the flowers.
Another has a bright synthetic pink flower in yarn that was more expensive at that time and therefore considered premium - so adding a little would have elevated the value of this rug in the time it was woven.
All of these elements give this rug a hearty wholesome and individual character.
Well balanced colors and will be an aesthetically pleasing home decor accent

Soft pile evenly worn out rug. Some minor fold lines. Otherwise good condition.
