Beautiful pair of Chaaklas or Squares used to decorate walls in Gujarat

Some dyes appear to be natural.

Note the creation of motifs using negative spaces in the embroidery

The borders have been made using roller printed cotton.

Each of the chaaklas is 60 x 60 cm

Note - As it is with all mirror-work embroidery, a few mirrors might be damaged or missing.
