Gorgeous Choli blouse from Kutch Gujarat

The orange base cloth is Masru or Mashru - an uncommon find!

Also, some of the embroidery is done in silk floss - which is uncommon.

Embroidered with several elephants on the front and on the sleeves while the back has parrots.

Has a printed lining inside. Partly hand stitched - edges reinforced with machine stitching.

The structure of the front is such that it acts like a bodice.

The back is fastened with string ties.

Stunning piece. Rare.
