Sold - Rare Antique Figurative Phulkari Temple Hanging with figures and Inscription in Gurmukhi

Has scenes that can be associated with Hindu tales.

• We have Sita and the deer
• we have Hanuman and Sanjeevani or Dronagiri,
• we have Krishna with his flute and Mira with her sitar…
• And some others that I don’t recognise – maybe Guru Nanak

Featuring spiritual leaders and other men alongside two words in Gurmukhi script the words read: “Majnu” & “Aurat”

Age unknown but estimated to be 50-80 years old

Has thread loss and some color run.
