900 Old Parsi Zoroastrian Heirloom Box with Silver & Jade?

Heirloom piece of a Parsi (Zorastrian) family

Quite likely used to keep sandalwood and other sacred items for temple visits

Material of the main body has not been tested and is most probably either Jadeite / Nephrite

The interior is lined with a silver plate on the base and compartmented into 6 cells using silver walls.

The exterior has silver edges that have been carved beautifully in leaf and vine motifs - typical of Iran

Acquired from the Silver Jewelry dealer of a Parsi family that has had this box for several generations.

6 inches x 3.5 inches x 2.2 inches

Age unknown - estimated to be from the 1800s
