Pair of superbly crafted Khmer bronze sculptures with outstanding detail in the textiles, costumes and ornaments.
One depicting standing male deity with four arms and holding an object in each hand - Vishnu and the other depicting a standing female deity - Laxmi
The male sculpture additionally mounted onto a black marble / stone base.
Note the elaborate detail in the textiles & jewelry in the sculptures. Both styles are identical to the work seen in Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. The grace and perfection of the clothing, the head gear, the jewelry and the posture at the backof the sculpture suggests authentic Khmer origin of these artworks.
