This group consists of 8 tiny fragments from a single textile
Superb base cloth with hand-spun yarn
Deep saturated red dyes and a lovely shade of light blue
Great as study examples or for framing together.
These textile have been saved from a fire - therefore has burn marks present on some. Holes and stains. Edges not even.
The largest is about 14 cm in length.
Comparison with other similar examples suggests that these are pre 1900.
