These may well once have been the adornment of a tribes-person, or were strung as a “set currency” for which to do trade.

Likely to have traveled hundreds of kilometres during their life as trade beads.

Estimated to have been produced pre 1900

Signs of this life lived heartily may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, color run and other imperfections.
