Pair of beaded hair ornaments for a child from Kutch, India

These are fastened to the hair at the level of the eyes.

Extremely tight stitching using very old small glass beads.

Estimated to be from the 1950s-70s

Even though the Rabaris have successfully preserved their culture, this particular artefact is rarely seen on children now.
