Cotton is khaddad but finer than the cotton woven for phulkaris of that region
Made of several narrow bands of base cloth held together by crochet which is very unusual
Has pink embroidery along the edges to act as a protective selvedgeHandspun yarn used in the handwoven fabric. Slubs can be seen in the yarn of the white base. Cloth of this type is not made any longer.
