Wool Shawl with weaving and Mirror embroidery fall over the field

From Kutch

Can be worn as a stole / scarf / shawl or used as a home decor accent

Woven in wool, the light pink and yellow stars woven accents are typical of the weaving of this area. Both ends have heavily woven bands.

The remarkable feature of this shawl is that the selvedge that hasí«í_ been woven in rather than getting a separate border affixed.

Small mirrors have been embroidered onto this textile - this mirrorwork technique is unique to the tribes of the Kutch region of India.
