This is another group of rugs that has many interesting variations. The diversity of weaving techniques combined with the variety of aesthetics keeps us coming back for more. Of these, the dragon soumac have my undivided vote as the 'most brilliant' creations. The complex figure and ground patterns are mesmerising. Mostly from nomadic animal herding cultures.
