An old South Caucasian Peacock Soumac Rug Verneh

Goes by the name of a verneh or shaddas and are made exclusively using the Sumakh technique.

Also note that the birds / animals have detailed motifs on their bodies.

Flat tight, stiff weave.

Great condition.
