The scene is from the Hindu epic: Ramayan and was created using the Batik technique in Cirebon, Indonesia.

Ramayan is the Hindu epic that provides the moral compass for life as it depicts the battle between good and evil.

This scene depicts Hanuman, the Monkey King who is a ardent devotee of Lord Ram.

The amazing aesthetic is the work of Late Pak Tomik.

Note the elaborate flickers of fire on Hanuman's arms an tail. Note the detailed checkered loin cloth.

The depiction of the clouds (mega mendung) is typical of the batiks of Cirebon in Java, Indonesia.
