1581 Antique Jain Painting Art Masterpiece

The main subject is an 8-armed Goddess or deity- possibly a version of Trishala.
The central Yantra is accompanied by 2 mathematical calculation used in astrology.
The lower section hosts a seated Ganesh and a 4-armed goddess.

The Jain community is among the wealthiest groups in India and the financial commitments made towards spiritual endeavors are substantial.

Note the two boxes at the bottom with iconography seen in Kalpasutras.

Pigments are all natural.

Good condition with usual traces of age and wear such as, edge wear, fold wear, stains, discoloration and color fading

Acquired from an auction house in the UK.

Framed in European frame.

65 x 44cm - Unusually large for a Jain painting on paper.
