A Framed Company School Painting - Gouache on Mica from the period 1850 - 1900.

The subject is a royal elephant with his mahout (probably in the city of Lucknow).

Some chipped paint as can be seen in the photo.

This painting and the frame both have the same character as the painting in another listing. Both could be displayed together.

The frames measures 10 1/2 in x 12 in. and the paintings is 4 1/4 x 6 in.
