Superb Wedding Ceremonial Turban from Swat Valley with double sided embroidery

Thick and heavy luscious embroidery on borders and end panels

The color is deep red (silk is difficult to photograph) and has accents in pink blue, yellow and orange.

Multicolored tassels  attached along the end - some missing.

Embroidery left incomplete is about 12". The dealer who is from the culture mentioned that it was left as a Nazar Battu.

Worn by men as a turban at important ceremonies

A turban is also the symbol of one's honor and is symbolic of a man's pride. It is the most important dress item of a man. Social Code requires that the turban be treated with respect and conversely any disrespect to the turban may be perceived as an insult.

The end panels with embroidery are 108cm long on each side and the border on each side is 5cm long
