The closeups reveal extremely hand embroidery executed with an extraordinary level of precision and neatness. The even tension across the thread in every motif is  impressive.

Motifs of birds and flowers rendered partly in cotton thread 

All dyes appear to be natural

Embellished with large mirrors - many of them missing by now. 

Age unknown but estimated to be 70-80 years old

132 x 63 cm

Either used as a child's cradle cloth or a cover for a small animal
