5200 Chinese Minority Child's Apron Tunic Costume

Fine example of a child's apron

China Minority people's costume - probably Miao.

This apron, worn over a shirt, is extensively embroidered in a fine stitch.

The wide flair of the skirt segment (119cm), created by dozens of tiny close pleats, is similar to the flower skirt of the Miao people.

Completely handstitched.

Thick cotton base and silk embroidery.

Shows signs of use and wear

The choice of colors, the style of garment all offer a glimpse of the culture of the minority groups in the 1940s-1950s.

Width at the Neck: 11cm
Width at the bottom: 119cm !!!!!
