Vintage Indian Cotton Shawl with Rabari embroidery from Gujarat

A Shawl / odhana similar to the Ludhi format but made in cotton.

Perfectly done Rabari embroidery on both ends of the textile. A central medallion added on.

The embroidery patches have been fixed onto the base textile.

The bright orange borders add to the character.

100 cm x 215 cm

Age unknown but the embroidery is estimated to be from the 1960s-1970s

The black base panel may be a recent replacement
