1351 Antique Textile Turban Panel with Embroidery from Kohistan / Swat

Most likely used as a turban.

One of the two ends has a pattern that is different from the rest of the textile

Superbly executed motifs. In my entire collection of Kohistan / Swat textiles I have yet to come across motifs that are so elaborate and unique. This piece is an ethnographic & archival treasure that deserves to be studied further.

Estimated to be from the early/mid 1900s

Has some discoloration on the back
