Extremely Fine Geometric Pedan or Pidan from Cambodia

A finely woven Ikat artwork from Cambodia

The silk is glossy and brown borders are attached around the Pedan.

No backing present.

Acquired in 2008 or 2009 from one of the groups that are engaged in the revival effort outside Siem reap.

A piece that is very difficult to photograph (as are all Cambodian silk ikats!)
