Scenes and Text of Geet Gobind by Jayadev elucidating legends of Krishna.

The Sanskrit text has been examined and is one that is in no longer in active use. While it is possible to phonetically read some of the text, the words are not familiar.

Script used is Devanagari is most parts with some unfamiliar renditions

Estimated to be from the 1700s.

Though the age is not confirmed, conclusions may be drawn from the evolution of epigraphy over the last few centuries displayed in the State Museum at Bhubaneshwar.

Minor wear.

Framed.

Note the detail int he clothes worn by all the figures

A total of 8 fragments were collected. These are being offered separately as Assets 287, 287b, and 1210 (group of 6 fragments).
