Housed in the renamed Prince of Wales Museum – the Chatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya, the Coomaraswamy Hall will be the venue for my first photography exhibition in Mumbai.
Exhibited as part of the group show “Mumbai Art by Artists” the series is titled ‘Journeys of the Soul’.
I explore cultural lifescapes of tribes and ethnic groups whose lives are so different from mine. My stars are the gypsies, nomads, minority ethnic groups and tribals of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Karnataka, Kutch, Rajasthan, Northern Thailand & Nepal. And through the lives of these people I present my own Journeys of the Soul.
From the brochure:

I click to
find myself.
I click to capture emotions
I click to capture
the beautiful soul of tribes and ethnic groups
These photographs are moments from their lives,
and from mine
and perhaps, also from yours.
