A few charming scenes from Mumbai that are also charming and contain the warmth of small town life.
Cotton fluffer – a profession that is nearly dead. He walks about the streets announcing his presence with loud shouts and is hired for a day by families to fluff up the cotton in mattresses & pillows to increase the longevity of the mattress.
The Nau or baraber who comes by and may be hired for shaving service. Hired here by the fruit vendor.
The difference between awe and disgust is simply our own attitude.
