Rich & Poor

The Barber comes home….

Do we in the big city have this luxury?

A little village with its own little wheels of economic output, buying and selling services that are all invisible in GDP calculations… termed as  ‘poor’ regions.

Ultimately the power of money lies not in the mere value of the reserves that back it, but in the goods and services that the it can buy.

My net worth on paper looks healthy – but am I rich enough to purchase the services of a hair stylist who comes home on demand?

A service that this man in a tiny hamlet in Gujarat can?

So who is the richer one?
