Pink Balloons – the Gay Village of Montreal

August 28, 2012 1 min read

Every individual is a combination of his preferences – of food, of interests, of music, of art, of worship, of fashion, of style, of profession and other aspects Sexuality is just one more.

Yet it receives undue attention from humanity today. Probably because lawmakers added this aspect of private life to public governance systems a few centuries ago. If a country were to outlaw a particular profession or vegetarianism it sounds absurd but the outlawing of homosexuals is not?

And so maybe this singled out aspect of life will receive attention for one more century until this discrimination is nullified.

Until then the world will have cute pink balloons hanging up on streets announcing the Gay Village of Montreal.
