This category is fascinating and this particular example is mesmerising in all its aspects - the motifs, the color and the aesthetic balance.

Beyond the identity of the ethnic group, this particular piece is infused with the soul of the individual weaver.

I could count 14 human and animal figures. These have been marked with green dots (humans) and pink dots (animals). In addition to these there are also several birds. 

The yellow medallions make a powerful impact. Also noteworthy is the presence of lilac / purple. 

Absolutely fabulous work of joy!

May be viewed & enjoyed in Singapore over a cup of tea.
